Today we crossed into Italy and had another encounter with a maniac mountain biker. As per usual, Mother was convinced that with his terrible sense of direction and attempt at a rapid descent of the mountain, he was aiming to kill everyone in his path. Once again we ate lunch at 11.00 and discovered that tomme de savoie is in fact not tomato, but cheese (terribly misleading to foreigners).  So we had a very cheesy omelette – both surprising and delicious!
