Day 28: Vilalba to Miraz

Camino del Norte

32km (745.3km)
Monday July 3 2017
Today was my final day with Robyn and Carol, who have no doubt been trying to lose me over the past week but I’ve hung on! It has been fun walking with them and this afternoon seemed very quiet without them. The temperatures soared as the day progressed but there was plenty of shade in the woods and so the thirty, or so, kilometres passed quite quickly. I’ll be honest and say today was my best feet day so far; pain free, I was nearly skipping along – but that might also be the effect of being 28 days into the walk and having less than 90k to go.
I’m in a great Albergue, with double bunks – strange the things that make one happy on this walk…clean beds, good menu Del dias and freshly washed clothes…

So now we know that in order to prepare next time you need to walk on bloody stumps for a month first, you might look a bid odd doing this in Edinburgh!
