The plan was to arrive in Irun this evening and then spend tomorrow sorting and finding the route. After a few fruitless hours marching round Irun in the rain looking for something to eat I have decided that I have exhausted what it has to offer and have therefore decided to start walking tomorrow, a day early. The problem with this is that I have booked the first 6 nights accommodation and they can’t be changed at such short notice so it looks like I’ll be having a rest day on day 2 of the walk, not ideal but San Sebastián does look rather lovely.
